Coconut… enrobed in heavenly dark chocolate..begging to be slowly savoured. Each bite a piece of heaven. First the luscious aroma as you unwrap, then the coconut morsels peeking cheekily out of the chocolatey layers, begging to be eaten. Take the first bite….and the next, and the next. Should I have one more bite? Can I resist? NO!!!
Have just finished an Orange Peel and Vanilla bar. Must buy another few, it was my last one! Beans grown in Africa, purchased from 'fair trade farmers', the chocolate is manufactured in the Cape, wrappers are eye-catching and designed by local artists and BEST OF ALL ……. many are VEGAN, just read the labels, many are, but do wish that ALL were!, then they would be slabs that we could really enjoy with PRIDE IN THE PRODUCT!
De Villiers chocolate is the best.
Its Gluten free and absolutely delicious.

This bar. THIS. BAR. This immaculate, salty, crunchy bar has me fighting off cravings with a sharpened stick. It has me elbowing ladies and small children for tasters at Woolworths. And, well, we don't talk about "The Tygervalley Incident".
This is, has been, and will always be my absolute favourite DV bar and, yes, I am prepared to fight people for the last one.
Paired with a glass of good red wine, a blanket and Netflix/a fire, it is heaven.
